(STAR) Space Training Adventure & Research Inc. is dedicated to the studies of earth and space sciences through STEM programs. Space Training Adventure & Research Inc., incorporates the thrill and adventure of human space discovery through problem solving, communication and teamwork. The STAR Program is designed to inspire and create enthusiasm in our youths.
By incorporating a strong and exciting STEM core curriculum into the astronaut training program, we will immerse our students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and how it relates to a career in the STEM field of interest.
The STAR Program offers a unique opportunity for students to participate in an actual astronaut space training program. STAR is directly involved with NASA’s Space Science Ambassador Education Program.
STAR mobile educational units offer high fidelity flight simulators, Moon and Mars base environments, realistic CAPCOM operations room, Interstellar Observation Platform, STEM Learning Rooms and an operational Orion Space Capsule that docks with the (ISS) International Space Station where students assist in real-time research provided by (JPL) Jet Propulsion Lab and other space related agencies.

Space is such an alien environment that attempting to work in it requires new techniques and knowledge. New technologies originating with or accelerated by space-related endeavors are often subsequently exploited in other economic activities.
Aerospace engineering is the branch of engineering focused on the design, construction, and testing of aircraft and spacecraft it is broken into two major overlapping disciplines: aeronautical engineering (for vehicles that stay within Earth’s atmosphere) and astronautical engineering (for vehicles that travel beyond Earth’s atmosphere). Aerospace engineering applies the fascinating science behind the forces of nature and the physical properties of aircraft, rockets, and spacecraft.
Math is important to science because math when applied to science, translates what things are telling us in their actions. For example; math can measure the pressure that the weight of water will have against a cement block and with that knowledge a dam can be built that is safe. Without the knowledge math gives us, we are at the mercy of chance and can only obtain information through trial and error.
Mathematics is used throughout the world as an essential tool in many fields, including space science, earth science, natural science, engineering, medicine, finance and the social sciences. Applied mathematics, the branch of mathematics concerned with application of mathematical knowledge to other fields, inspires and makes use of new mathematical discoveries, which has led to the development of entirely new mathematical disciplines.
